The COB light exits from the strip's narrow side rather than the broad front surface. Use it to outline wall grooves, recessed slots, cabinet joints and ceiling details where the light direction matters.

This LED strip consumes 8W per meter. We recommend a constant-voltage DC supply with at least 50% wattage headroom. Voltage MUST match the strip exactly.

Installation Guide
- Plan the layout: Measure the groove or gap, confirm the side light direction and ensure suitable clearance.
- Check voltage: Identify the strip as DC 12V or 24V, then select a matching constant-voltage supply.
- Prepare the surface: Clean and dry the installation area. Apply the adhesive backing to a suitable smooth surface and add mounting supports if needed.
- Orient the emitting side: Position the 4mm luminous surface toward the area to be illuminated.
- Connect DC wiring: With power disconnected, observe + and - polarity. Insert any optional PWM dimmer between the power supply and strip.
- Seal exposed points: Use suitable waterproof accessories on cut ends and outdoor electrical connections.
- Test the light: Verify stable and even illumination before closing decorative channels or finishing the installation.

Troubleshooting
Strip does not light: Disconnect power and verify voltage, DC polarity, wiring and optional controller settings.
Strip seems dim: Check PSU power capacity, wiring resistance, cable length and controller brightness.
Dimming does not work: Confirm the controller is compatible with constant-voltage, single-color PWM LED strips.
Water enters a connection: Disconnect power immediately. Inspect the affected parts and replace or reseal as appropriate before further use.

Cut only at clearly designated cutting points, if provided. Check the physical strip markings first. Cutting anywhere else can damage the circuit.
13. How do I waterproof the LED strip after cutting?
Use suitable sealing materials, end caps and waterproof electrical connectors. Follow curing instructions before exposure to moisture.
14. Which color temperatures are available?
Choose one fixed white-light version: 3000K warm white, 4000K natural white or 6000K cool white. This is not a tunable-CCT strip.
15. Does the strip support Alexa or Google Home?
Not by itself. Supported smart control may be added with a compatible separately purchased single-color WiFi PWM LED controller.
16. Why does the strip not light up?
Disconnect power and check power-supply voltage, polarity, connectors and optional controller settings before retesting.
