Automatic Light When You Need It
Two PIR motion sensors detect movement from the top and bottom of your staircase. When movement is detected, all stair lights illuminate together and automatically turn off after the selected delay.
With Tuya WiFi APP control, adjustable brightness, adjustable lighting duration and a daylight sensor, this system combines practical automation with clean modern staircase lighting.

One Main Line. Much Simpler Installation.
Traditional stair lighting can require separate wiring for every step. This system uses a dedicated main-line cable installed along the side of the staircase.
Each 1-meter COB LED strip connects directly to the corresponding connection point on the main line. This reduces cable clutter and helps create a cleaner installation.
Dual PIR Motion Sensor Control
The kit includes two PIR motion sensors for installation near the top and bottom of the staircase.
When movement is detected, the system automatically turns on the stair lighting. After the configured lighting duration, the lights automatically turn off.
Lighting duration can be adjusted up to 300 seconds to suit different staircase layouts and daily usage habits.
Important Lighting Effect Information
This model turns ALL stair lights on together and turns ALL stair lights off together. It does NOT provide a step-by-step sequential lighting effect. If you require step-by-step illumination, choose the MALIIGAZA STEP-09 stair lighting system instead.
Tuya WiFi APP and Optional Remote Control
The controller can connect to the Tuya APP through WiFi for convenient adjustment and control. An optional remote controller is also available for customers who prefer physical remote operation.
Important: APP and remote control functions are effective only while the PIR-triggered lighting system is active. When the stair light is in its inactive/off state, APP and remote commands cannot be used to control the lighting.
Adjustable Daylight Sensor
A dedicated daylight sensor helps prevent the lights from activating when the surrounding environment is already bright enough.
The light sensitivity can be adjusted according to your installation environment. The daylight sensing function can also be disabled when automatic operation is required regardless of ambient light level.

Basic Installation Guide
- Plan the controller, PIR sensor, daylight sensor and main-line cable positions before fixing the components.
- Install the main-line cable along the side of the staircase.
- Measure each stair and cut the COB strip only at the marked 50mm cutting points if shortening is required.
- Clean and dry the mounting surface before applying the LED strip adhesive backing.
- Connect each stair LED strip to its corresponding main-line connection point.
- Carefully confirm positive and negative polarity before powering the system.
- Connect the PIR sensors and daylight sensor to the controller.
- Connect the controller to the included 24V transformer power supply.
- Test motion detection, daylight sensitivity, brightness and lighting duration before completing the installation.
Troubleshooting Guide
The LED strip does not light up
Check the power supply connection and confirm that the positive and negative connections between the main line and LED strip are not reversed.
The lights do not activate during daytime
The daylight sensor may be preventing activation because the surrounding light level is above the configured threshold. Adjust the light sensitivity or disable the daylight function if required.
APP or remote control does not respond while the lights are off
This is normal for this model. APP and optional remote functions are effective only after the PIR-triggered lighting state has been activated.
The LED strip does not stay attached
Make sure the staircase surface is flat, clean and completely dry before applying the adhesive-backed LED strip.
The lights do not illuminate step by step
This model is designed for simultaneous illumination. All connected stair lights turn on together. Choose STEP-09 if you need sequential step-by-step lighting.

- Never connect the controller or LED strips directly to AC 220V mains power. The controller must be powered through the supplied DC 24V transformer power supply.
