The MALIIGAZA X7 series is a 5-in-1 Tuya SPI addressable LED controller available in Zigbee and WiFi versions. It supports SPI Single Color, CCT, RGB, RGBW and RGBCCT addressable LED strips, including compatible COB and SMD designs.

Tuya Smart Life App Control

Use the Tuya or Smart Life app to configure your addressable LED strip and control compatible lighting functions.

After pairing, select the correct LED strip type and IC type in the app. Incorrect strip or IC settings can cause incorrect colors, effects or control behavior.

The X7 platform can be configured for five different SPI addressable strip categories:

Optional 4-Channel MESH Remote Control

Optional 2.4G RF MESH remotes are available separately in rectangular and square styles.

Rectangular remotes combine buttons and touch control. Square remotes use a glass touch panel and are available in black or white depending on the selected option.

One compatible 4-channel remote can pair with up to four controllers for individual channel control or synchronized group control.

AUX Music Synchronization

The X7 includes an AUX audio input for direct audio signal input, allowing compatible lighting effects to respond to music.

Basic Setup Guide

1. Use a DC 5V, 12V or 24V power supply that matches your LED strip voltage.
2. Connect the DC power supply to the controller input.
3. Connect the compatible SPI LED strip according to its wiring and signal configuration.
4. For X7-Zigbee, pair the controller through a compatible Tuya Zigbee gateway.
5. For X7-WiFi, connect through the Tuya or Smart Life app using WiFi/Bluetooth pairing.
6. Select the correct LED strip type and IC type in the app before normal operation.

Troubleshooting

X7-Zigbee does not appear in the app

Confirm that a compatible Tuya Zigbee gateway is installed and online. The Zigbee version cannot connect to the app without a compatible Zigbee gateway.

LED strip lights but colors or effects are incorrect

Check the selected LED strip category and IC type in the Tuya or Smart Life app.

LED strip does not respond

Verify the DC power supply voltage, SPI wiring, signal connection and strip compatibility.

Standard RGB or CCT PWM strip does not work

The X7 series is designed for SPI addressable LED strips. Standard PWM LED strips are not supported.

Important Notes and Safety Warnings

DC POWER ONLY: Never connect the controller directly to AC 110V or AC 220V mains power. Direct AC connection can immediately damage the controller.

Use only a suitable DC 5V, 12V or 24V power supply that matches the LED strip voltage.

X7-ZIGBEE: A compatible Tuya Zigbee gateway is required for app control.

SPI ONLY: The controller does not support standard PWM LED strips.

Select the correct LED strip type and IC type in the app before operation.

What is the difference between X7-Zigbee and X7-WiFi?

X7-Zigbee uses Zigbee 3.0 and requires a compatible Tuya Zigbee gateway. X7-WiFi uses Tuya WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.
