Installation Guide
1. Plan Your Star Pattern
Decide where each star point will be positioned and mark the installation surface before drilling.
2. Drill the Fiber Holes
Use an appropriate professional drilling tool to create the required holes in the ceiling panel, headliner, or installation surface.
3. Insert the Optical Fibers
Feed individual fibers through the prepared holes. Secure them carefully using suitable hot-melt or compatible installation adhesive.
4. Organize the Fiber Bundle
Route and group the fibers neatly toward the light engine location. Avoid excessive bending or crushing of the fibers.
5. Insert Fibers Into the Light Engine
Insert the fiber bundle fully into the light-engine port and rotate the locking knob until the fibers are securely held.
6. Connect the Power Supply
Connect the light engine to the supplied DC 12V power adapter. Do not connect the light engine directly to household AC power.
7. Test Before Final Finishing
Test the lighting, APP, remote, twinkle function, and music modes before permanently finishing the installation.
8. Trim the Fiber Ends
After installation and testing, carefully trim the exposed fiber ends to achieve the desired star-point appearance.
Troubleshooting Guide
The light engine does not turn on
Check that the supplied DC 12V power adapter is connected correctly and that the power source is active. Never test the light engine by connecting it directly to AC mains voltage.
The fibers look dim
Make sure the fiber bundle is fully inserted into the light-engine port and securely tightened. Poor alignment between the fiber bundle and light source can reduce transmitted light.
The APP cannot find the light
Confirm that Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and stay close to the light engine during initial connection. Disconnect other unnecessary Bluetooth connections if pairing remains unsuccessful.
Music mode is not reacting strongly
Increase the sound sensitivity in the APP and make sure the controller can detect the surrounding music or sound clearly.
Some star points are weak
Inspect the relevant fibers for excessive bends, crushing, poor routing, or an improperly seated fiber bundle.
Important Installation and Safety Notes
- No meteor effect: This model provides star, twinkle, color, CCT, dynamic, and music-responsive effects but does not include a meteor or shooting-star function. A separate MALIIGAZA meteor fiber optic kit is required for that effect.
- DC 12V only: Never connect the light engine directly to AC 110V or AC 220V mains power. Direct AC connection can immediately damage the unit.
- Installation tools are not included: Professional drilling tools, hot-melt glue or suitable adhesive, scissors, and other installation tools must be prepared separately.
- Installation requires time: Creating a fiber optic star ceiling involves drilling and routing many individual fibers. Large installations can require considerable time and patience.

Very fast shipping and the light worked as advertised. light can also be installed to an outlet with on-off-switch as it remembers the last setting it was on (so if i turn the light on with the remote and then use the outlet's switch to turn off and on again, it works as planned - no need for the remote).
