MALIIGAZA FOB-296 is an AC 220V-240V high voltage COB LED strip designed for decorative lighting on gardens, roofs, building outlines, corridors and other indoor or outdoor applications.

With 296 LEDs per meter, CRI 90+ light quality and an IP67 PVC protective sleeve, it delivers a smooth continuous light line without the visible LED dots of traditional SMD strips.

CRITICAL SAFETY WARNING

NEVER power on the LED strip while it is still rolled on the reel.

The strip must be completely unrolled before powering on. Operating it while coiled prevents proper heat dissipation and may permanently damage the LED strip.

Ideal for long decorative lighting: The high voltage design is especially useful for longer installations where low-voltage LED strips may require additional power injection or multiple power supplies.

FOB-296 operates on AC 220V-240V and is intended for regions using compatible mains voltage.

Unlike conventional DC 12V or DC 24V LED strips, it does not require a separate low-voltage transformer.

This makes it practical for long decorative installations such as building outlines, roofs, gardens and architectural accent lighting.

Voltage Compatibility: This version is designed for AC 200V-240V power systems and is not suitable for standard 110V North American mains power.

Important: Cut ONLY at the designated cutting marks. Cutting at another position may permanently damage the strip.

Installation tip: Clean and dry the mounting surface before installation. For vertical, overhead or outdoor installations, use suitable fixing clips in addition to the adhesive backing.

1. Disconnect mains power before handling or installing the LED strip.
2. Measure the required installation length.
3. If cutting is required, cut only at the marked 125 mm cutting position.
4. Seal any cut end with the correct high-voltage tail cap and suitable silicone sealant.
5. Clean the mounting surface so it is smooth, dry and free from dust or oil.
6. Install the strip and use suitable mounting clips for additional mechanical support.
7. Completely unroll the strip before any power test.
8. Have the mains connection completed or checked by a qualified person with appropriate electrical skills.

High-density LED strips generate heat during operation. Always fully unroll the FOB-296 before switching it on, even for a short test.

The strip does not light

Disconnect power and check the mains connection, connector installation and whether the strip has been cut at an approved cutting position.

The strip becomes unusually hot

Switch off power immediately. Confirm that the strip is completely unrolled and is not covered or installed where heat cannot dissipate.

The adhesive does not hold

Make sure the mounting surface is clean, smooth and dry. Use additional mounting clips because the PVC-covered high-voltage strip is relatively heavy.

Water entered after cutting

Disconnect mains power immediately. A cut end must be correctly sealed using a compatible tail cap and suitable silicone sealant before outdoor use.

Some sections do not illuminate correctly after cutting

Check whether the strip was cut precisely at its designated cutting mark. Cutting outside the specified location can damage that electrical section.
