The 15A rating is a maximum total controller rating, not permission to exceed individual output-channel limits. Confirm controller specifications and the load of your chosen voltage/length. A 5-in-1 controller supports five PWM strip types, not five strips at once.

Power Supply & Wiring Guide
For safe sizing, calculate at 18W/m (the upper end of the 840 version's stated 16-18W/m range). Choose a regulated constant-voltage DC power supply with matching voltage and capacity above the expected load.

Basic connection: AC mains → matching AC/DC power supply → RGBCCT PWM controller → 6-pin COB strip.
For 10m runs, plan suitable wire gauge, controller/channel current limits and additional feed points as necessary. Never promise zero voltage drop solely based on strip length or voltage.
What Is Included?
Strip-only option: The selected RGBCCT COB LED strip. No smart controller or remote is included.
Controller bundle: The selected strip plus the selected smart controller.
Optional accessories: RF remote and matching DC power supply only when explicitly included in the chosen listing variant.
Zigbee gateway: Required for Zigbee smart pairing and not included unless explicitly stated.
If a power adapter is included with your selected bundle, plug type may be supplied according to the delivery destination. Confirm the full option name and package illustration before checkout.
Installation Steps
- Plan: Confirm length, voltage, controller type and total load.
- Uncoil: Completely unwind the strip before powering it for testing.
- Cut carefully: Power off and cut only on marked lines (960: 41.67mm; 840: 36mm).
- Wire: Match the six marked terminals to the correct five-channel PWM controller outputs.
- Power: Connect the controller to a suitable regulated 12V or 24V DC power supply matching the strip.
- Pair: Use the controller's Tuya/Smart Life procedure; install a compatible gateway first for Zigbee.
- Mount: Clean and dry the surface, then apply the adhesive without sharply bending, twisting or stretching the strip. Aluminum profiles can help protect and cool it.
Troubleshooting
No light: Check DC output voltage, supply capacity, power polarity and controller wiring.
Incorrect colors: Verify common, R, G, B, warm white and cool white connections; check RGBCCT controller mode.
Dim far end: Recheck voltage drop, wiring length/gauge and the need for additional feeds.
WiFi pairing fails: Reset into pairing mode and follow your model's Tuya/Smart Life instructions; use supported Bluetooth-assisted setup if available.
Zigbee pairing fails: Verify the compatible gateway is online, reset the controller and pair near the gateway.
Important Safety Information
NEVER connect the LED strip or controller directly to AC 110V/220V/230V.
- Use ONLY a matching regulated DC power supply (12V for 12V strips, 24V for 24V strips).
- Never operate the strip while tightly coiled. Heat buildup can cause permanent damage.
- Do not excessively twist, fold, crush, step on or otherwise damage the LED strip or its components.
- Disconnect all power before cutting, connecting or servicing the strip.
- Keep non-waterproof strips and accessories away from rain and excessive moisture; the 840 version is specified IP30.
- Check controller total and per-channel current limits, wiring and heat dissipation.
- Do not use SPI/WS2811 pixel controllers: this product uses 6-pin PWM RGBCCT control.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is an RGBCCT COB LED strip?
It combines RGB color channels and separate warm/cool white channels in a smooth COB lighting surface. It is also commonly called RGB+CCT or RGBCW.
2. How are 840 LEDs/m and 960 LEDs/m different?
960 LEDs/m has more LEDs, 12V/24V choices and a 2700-6500K white range. The 840 version is 24V with 3000-6000K white. They also have different cut intervals.
3. Can I get warm and cool white as well as RGB?
Yes. Dedicated white channels allow tunable white without using RGB-only color mixing. White color temperature range depends on the chosen version.
4. Is 24V better than 12V for a 10m run?
Generally yes for comparable loads because of lower current and reduced wiring loss. Power injection can still be needed for uniform results.
5. Which controller should I use?
Use a compatible five-channel RGBCCT PWM controller. The WiFi Pro is dedicated to RGBCCT; the two 5-in-1 controllers support additional PWM strip types.
6. What does 5-in-1 mean?
It means the controller can be configured for DIM, CCT, RGB, RGBW or RGBCCT PWM lighting. It does not include five LED strips.
7. Does the Zigbee controller require a gateway?
Yes. A compatible Zigbee hub/gateway is required to pair and control the Zigbee version through its smart home ecosystem.
8. Can I use Alexa, Google Assistant, Hue or SmartThings?
Supported controller and gateway configurations can work with these ecosystems. Actual compatibility and available functions vary by model and hub.
9. Are app scenes, music sync and schedules supported?
Many Tuya controller configurations support app scenes, schedules, memory and sound-responsive effects. Check the selected controller's function list.
10. Can one RF remote control four zones?
A compatible optional 4-channel 2.4GHz remote can control up to four paired groups separately or together. The remote battery is not included.
11. Can I cut and reconnect the strip?
Yes. Cut only on marked pads: 41.67mm for 960 LEDs/m and 36mm for 840 LEDs/m. Use compatible 12mm 6-pin connectors.
12. How much power is needed for 5m or 10m?
At 18W/m design load, 5m draws up to 90W and 10m up to 180W. We suggest matching-voltage supplies rated at least 120W or 240W respectively.
13. Are the power supply and controller included?
Not with the bare-strip option. Other bundles may include a selected controller, optional remote and/or power supply; check exactly what your selected variant lists.
14. Is the COB strip waterproof?
The 840 version is specified IP30, not waterproof. Do not use these strips in wet or outdoor locations unless the exact purchased version has documented suitable protection.
15. Can it be installed in an aluminum profile?
Yes, with a suitably sized profile accommodating its 12mm width and connectors. Profiles can improve protection and heat dissipation.
16. Why are the strip colors wrong or a channel missing?
Check controller mode and that common, RGB, warm-white and cool-white terminals are connected correctly. Disconnect power before correcting wiring.
17. Is it compatible with WS2811 or addressable pixel controllers?
No. This is a non-addressable 6-pin PWM RGBCCT strip. It cannot make individually controlled chase effects like SPI/RGBIC pixel strips.
18. What is the product warranty and expected lifespan?
MALIIGAZA states a 3-year product warranty subject to applicable terms. Actual service life depends on cooling, voltage quality, usage and installation; no fixed hours are promised.

Good. Bright, colourful. Accurate colours in every kind.
I changed the strip inside the regular warm white LED lighting. I connected it via Zigbee and adjusted it with the Hue app. It works well.
It seems to be of good quality. It has connectors at both ends of the LED strip and that is greatly appreciated. It must be said that for being a COB strip, I notice the LEDs inside the strip. Check my photos.

The tape works well. Unfortunately, it has not yet been installed in its place, so there is no photo. I liked that I took 3 meters and already had 6-pin strips soldered to the tape.
