Smart Stair Lighting With Step Lights + RGB Side Flow
The MALIIGAZA STEP-SP32-PRO combines motion-activated individual stair lighting with dynamic RGB side-flow effects in one intelligent controller. Control up to 32 steps, customize each step through the Bluetooth app, and create a more responsive, modern staircase lighting system.
Turn Your Staircase Into a Smart Lighting Experience
Ordinary stair controllers simply switch lights on and off. STEP-SP32-PRO gives you much more control.
When motion is detected, the stair lights can illuminate progressively from the direction you enter while an optional RGB addressable strip creates a synchronized running-light effect along the handrail, wall, or staircase edge.
Why Choose STEP-SP32-PRO?
32 independent step output ports make it suitable for small and large indoor staircases.
Use the app to switch all stair lights on or control individual steps separately.
Add compatible SPI RGB addressable strips for dynamic side-running lighting effects.
Adjust lighting functions conveniently through the compatible Bluetooth mobile app.
Advanced Smart Stair Lighting Features
1. Step-by-Step Lighting + RGB Side Running Effect
Create two lighting effects at the same time. Your stair tread lights can illuminate progressively while a compatible RGB SPI strip runs dynamically along a handrail, wall edge, or staircase side.
2. Dual PIR Motion Detection
Install one PIR motion sensor at the bottom of the staircase and one at the top. Motion detected at the bottom starts the lighting sequence upward, while motion detected at the top starts the sequence downward.
3. Bluetooth App Control
Connect the controller to the compatible mobile app through Bluetooth. Manage operating modes, lighting behavior, individual steps, full-on lighting, speed, timing, and other available settings from your phone.
4. Optional Wireless Remote Control
A compatible wireless remote can be purchased separately for convenient control without opening the app.
5. Up to 32 Independently Controlled Steps
The controller provides 32 stair-light output ports. Each port supports up to 1A, allowing each stair step to be controlled independently.
6. Nine Dynamic Stair Lighting Modes
Choose from 9 dynamic operating modes. Configure sequential step lighting or multi-step effects, then adjust animation speed and lighting duration to match your staircase and preferred visual style.
7. Full-On and Individual Step Control
The app can switch all connected stair lights on continuously or control individual stair outputs separately. This gives DIY users much greater flexibility than conventional motion-only stair controllers.
Lighting Compatibility
Stair step outputs: Compatible with DC12V or DC24V single-color LED strips.
Side-flow output: Compatible with DC12V or DC24V RGB addressable SPI LED strips.
Maximum RGB pixel setting: Up to 1021 pixels.
Important: The side-running output does not support ordinary single-color strips as a running-light strip.
Ideal Applications
Automatic step lighting for modern residential stairs.
Upgrade existing staircases with intelligent motion-activated lighting.
Build a customized step-light and RGB side-flow lighting combination.
Add functional ambient lighting to contemporary indoor spaces.

Troubleshooting Guide
Stair lights do not turn on
Check the DC power supply, wiring polarity, strip voltage, controller connections, and PIR sensor connections.
Lighting sequence starts in the wrong direction
Check the position and connection of the top and bottom PIR sensors.
RGB side strip does not animate correctly
Confirm that the strip is a compatible RGB addressable SPI strip and verify its operating voltage, signal connection, and pixel number setting.
Only part of the RGB strip responds
Set the pixel number to match the actual number of controllable pixels in the connected strip.
Bluetooth connection is unavailable
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and remain near the controller during initial app connection.
